Super Batter Up (SNES)
Super Batter Up sports all 26 Major League teams as well as all the players on the 1991 rosters. However, the seasons'
actual statistics aren't included, and each player seems to have roughly the same abilities. The graphics are nothing
spectacular, but the standard, behind-the-batter viewpoint makes for good, easy hitting. The sounds, which include a nice
rendition of Oh Canada for games played in Toronto, are very effective. Fielding, on the other hand, is a bit awkward, since
it's hard to get to fly balls, and throws from the outfield move too slowly (the players themselves are pretty quick).
All in all, this is an average baseball game with small players, solid controls, a password feature for saving stats and such,
and fairly routine gameplay.
