Join Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and others as they take on the evil Galactic Empire in Star Wars. The game's action and cinematic cut-scenes represent and expand upon the movie's plot, usually in 2D platform style.

Star Wars begins as you control Luke and his landspeeder on Tatooine in search of C-3PO's counterpart, R2-D2. You must visit caves and even invade the Jawas' sandcrawler on your adventure. But, as becomes evident when you meet Obi-Wan Kenobi, this adventure is only just beginning.

After having met Han Solo, you must embark upon a rescue mission to free Princess Leia from the Death Star. Before you make it to the maze that makes up this battle station, though, you'll have to pilot the Millennium Falcon through the asteroid-like remains of Alderaan. After you've rescued Leia from the Death Star, it's time to blow it up in Luke's X-wing!

Star Wars allows you to play as Luke throughout the entire game, or you can replace him with Leia or Han when they are in your party. Besides looking different, each character has separate abilities. You can also get assistance from Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO and R2-D2.
