Based on the 1986 arcade game, Legendary Wings has a number of features that are bound to satisfy gamers on some level. The game's division into side-scrolling and overhead action gives it some variety, and having to contend with both land and air targets in the overhead stages is a nice touch rarely seen in other shooters. The graphics are well detailed and the sound effects offer a satisfying array of explosions and weapon blasts.
