Talespin "Disney's"
Disney's TaleSpin unsuccessfully pairs the gameplay of a side-scrolling shooter with the level layout of a platformer.
As you fly Baloo's plane, the screen constantly scrolls in the direction you're flying. While normally a common element
in a shooter, the scrolling doesn't fit well with levels requiring exploration and backtracking. In order to return and
investigate an area, which you have to do if you want to collect items, you must awkwardly press a button to turn the plane
in the opposite direction. This disrupts the normal flow of a side-scrolling shooter without providing the freedom afforded
by controlling a ground-based character. On the bright side, the graphics are on par with Capcom's other Disney titles
on the NES.
