Viewed from a top-down perspective, Pokémon Dash puts players in control of cute little Pikachu, who races (on foot) against another pocket monster. To make the character run, players simply rub the touch screen in the right direction. Races become more difficult as the game progresses, and players must compete against multiple characters. In later levels, racing Pokémon may need to use other items they find on the course -- such as a balloon to cross a stretch of open water.
