Unlike the laserdisc-based arcade game, the player supposedly can control all of Dirk's movements in this side-scrolling version of Dragon's Lair. The graphics and animation are about as good as the NES's capabilities are in trying to replicate the look of the laserdisc version, but the controls are nearly nonexistent and the difficulty level is incredible.
